This is to confirm that you have successfully signed up for membership with LOVEFiLM and to answer some questions you might have about using our service. Please add a minimum of 15 films to your queue immediately (we recommend 15-50); your first selection will be sent out to you within 24 hrs.

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

We're sure you'll want to stay after your free trial ends, but if you decide to cancel, all your DVDs must be returned before your first billing date to avoid being charged.

WHEN AM I BILLED?

Because you joined us on a Saturday, we'll be unable to dispatch your first order until Monday. Because of this, an extra 2 days have been added to your free trial period.

When your free trial period ends, your credit card will be charged GBP 14.99 on the 30th of every month. To find your billing information on our website, click on "Your Account" then click on "Your Terms".

If you wish to cancel your membership, please visit "Your Account" and select "Cancel Membership". Please note that you must return all rented DVDs before your billing date, or you will be billed for an extra month.

Remember that you can change your membership level at any time, either up or down, by choosing the "Change membership level" option in "Your Account".

If your circumstances change temporarily you can put your membership on hold as long as you have returned all your DVDs to us. All your account information, rental queue will be retained for when you reactivate your membership.

HOW DO I ORDER FILMS?

Your rental queue is the heart of your LOVEFiLM membership. This is where you add the films you want to watch and indicate the priority with which you would like to receive them. It is important that you add a minimum of fifteen films to your queue to maximize the number of films you are able to watch in any given month. There is no limit to the number of films you can add to your queue. We always try to fulfill your first choice, but knowing what else you'd like to watch means that we'll always be able to send you an acceptable alternative, if demand for a particular title is high.

WHAT SHOULD I WATCH?

With a selection of over 21,000 films, the hardest part of being a LOVEFiLM member is choosing what to watch. It's our mission to help you find great new films to watch, whatever your taste.

If you have a particular film title, director or actor in mind, use our quick search function. Filter by decade or browse using our A-Z list in our contextual menu bar. If you have a feel for the style of film you want to watch, simply select from our easy-to-use genre selector. Once you are in a particular genre, our contextual menu will change to reflect the choices in that genre. Want to be intrigued? Use our mood selector for a tongue-in-cheek glance at some classic choices.

RATINGS AND REVIEWS

The LOVEFiLM community spans a diverse range of tastes in film. One of the best ways of finding out how good a film is to read what other members are saying about it. When you have finished watching a film, please rate it so that other members can benefit from your experience; our LOVEFiLM rankings page lists our top 250 films as rated by our members. Your ratings will also help us in future to recommend films to you based on your personal ratings profile.
